KM Models
It is noted there is a series of KM Models, just by looking at the word Epistemological and Ontological appears to be jargon for me. Think! Every time I look at the word Ontological my first instance looks like "oncology" - this I know straight away which is the treatment of study: cancer. I must not mix work with my University work!

The 2 words are completely new to me ...I must now use a dictionary to define!
According to the Collins English Dictionary, Epistemology is denoted as "the theory of knowledge" in specific the study of its "validity, methods and scope". Whereas Ontology is the "philosophy - the set of entities" for logical thinking.

Will be back for more posting of thoughts.... after work!

  1. i am also new to these words... from my own understanding, Epistemology is the philosophy, which asks questions; for example: is knowledge measurable, objective, acquired or experienced...

  3. Hi Man-Chie

I must say I am impressed by your 3 attached articles in your email to me. However, why you dont have them published on your blog (or at least a summary).

    Is it IC issues?

But did you know that by exposing your ideas to other they get improved?

Did you know that knowledge is a resource that does not depreciate with using, it actually appreciates?

Think of these and let me know.

Keep up the good work, and actually do better!

  4. I have no issues with IC as my previous employment post's involved training and guiding / supporting work colleagues on best practices - therefore sharing the knowledge on how to do things better, more efficient and saving time.
